Tel Aviv: Israel has now deployed its entire standing army into the Gaza Strip, along with all of its armoured brigades, in what is being described as the most intense and expansive phase of its ground invasion to date.
According to a report by The Times of Israel, tens of thousands of Israeli troops are currently operating inside Gaza, alongside tanks and heavy military vehicles from every active armoured division.
Citing official sources from the Israeli military, the report confirms the deployment of elite combat units, including the Golani, Givati, Paratroopers, Commando, Kfir, and Nahal brigades, as well as the 7th, 188th, and 401st armoured brigades. These forces are being supported by numerous reserve units, underscoring the scale and seriousness of Israel’s military campaign.
This full-force mobilization reflects a significant escalation in Israel's operational posture in Gaza, signaling a long and deeply entrenched ground conflict. Military analysts suggest this is a strategic move aimed at applying maximum pressure on Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups, particularly after months of intense aerial bombardment and mounting international scrutiny.
The deployment of such a vast number of troops and heavy weaponry raises immediate concerns about civilian safety, urban destruction, and the humanitarian fallout in a territory already crippled by siege, displacement, and infrastructural collapse. As the ground war intensifies, aid agencies and global powers are calling for restraint, ceasefire negotiations, and unimpeded access to humanitarian corridors to prevent further escalation of what is already a catastrophic situation.
